Starbits Pets is a unique virtual pet site hidden away in the depths of the interwebs. It has a small, but growing community, and is constantly updating on a brief hiatus, but returning soon. A newb-friendly atmosphere, active forums, an oekaki, helpful staff, adorable pets, a multitude of items to collect make this site extremely fun and rather addicting ^^

The site features a rather strange land of Bita, inhabited by animals called Starbits, Solbits, and their tiny counterparts known as Minibits. The oekaki mascot, Oekakineko, stands waiting to answer your questions on the front page, so you can go there for more info on SBP~~

eBooks and Online Novels

LV Palmer.com - A friend of mine, Linda Palmer, has published several "young adult romances with a paranormal twist" as online eBooks. Be sure to check out samples of her amazing writing on her website! I highly recommend Jaguar Moon!

Webcomics

I suck at summaries. Just visit the websites already! ;-;

Ozy and Millie - A classic webcomic by Dana Claire Simpson about two young foxes and their adventures in school, politics, and the affairs of some mischevious dragons.

Raine Dog - A newer graphic-novel style webcomic by Dana Claire Simpson.

Dominic Deegan - A rather lengthy fantasy comic with several epic story arcs and more characters than you can shake a wand at.

Sandra and Woo - A webcomic about a girl and her talking pet raccoon, with a definite Calvin-and-Hobbes feel. Also updates in German.

No Need for Bushido - A parody/adventire comic set in feudal Japan. Known for its quirky group of main characters and non-sound-effects.

Skin Deep - Another fantasy webcomic about a girl who, after entering college, discovers quite suddenly that she is a Sphynx.
